Designed to emulate old movie posters, VHS cover art, and video games of the 1980’s. Bad Weather Brewing Company’s annual arcade party imagery was fueled by nostalgia of a bygone era.
Drawing inspiration from less popular films and video games. The goal was to cultivate the feeling of nostalgia without directly referencing any particular piece of pop culture.
The event beer, Fog of War, went on to be incorporated into Bad Weather’s retail lineup. The art had to be reworked to conform to a horizontal layout, and the movie poster layout was swapped for a classic Atari video game look.
