Runic wanted it’s branding rooted in ancient cultures without feeling like it was pulled straight from some cuneiform tablet in a museum. Nordic, Mesopotamian, and Germanic carvings were the foundation for the brands aesthetic. Embracing sharp angles, and clean lines over ornamental curves modernized the old world look while maintaining it’s sense of mythology.

These icons(runes) were used to represent the various skill sets(powers) used to complete projects.

Inspired by dwarven mythos in Nordic folklore, the logo was built to look good carved into a mountain side stone, or laser etched onto a business card. A representation of great craftsmanship gained through discipline and knowledge.
